HARBOUR

Sydney Harbour, Nova Scotia (46 def 09* N * 60 def 12* W) Located in Cabot Strait at the NE shore of Cape Breton Island. A 10-mile long (16 km) *Y* shaped inlet that is open all year round for shipping activity

The commodious harbour covers an areas of some 40 square km (15 square miles).

The SYDNEY MARINE TERMINAL handles cruise ships, project cargo, break bulk, bulk and fuel and is located on the east side of the south arm of the harbour.
